Many runners find it difficult to do their workouts in the early morning workouts. The entire body feels lazy and you feel like just dragging your heels.
If you do workouts, especially hard or long ones, in such a state, your chances of not being able to execute the workouts properly and of getting injured are increased.
To avoid this, incorporate this regimen in your pre-workout routine: walk for 500m or 5 minutes. You can start off with at a leisurely walking pace and end with brisk walking. This wakes up your entire body and warms up your muscles.
After the walking warmup, you can then proceed to your other regimen like a running warmup, dynamic warmup, etc. Try it out!
